West Avenue Realty, a fast-growing luxury real estate development company, is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head – Legal to lead its legal function, manage regulatory and statutory matters, oversee property transactions and safeguard the company's legal interests across its real estate projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in real estate law, corporate law, property due diligence, litigation and project-related legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Legal Drafting & Documentation: Draft, review and negotiate Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), MoUs, Development Agreements, Sale Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, Agreements for Sale, contracts and other legal documents.
- Land Acquisition & Due Diligence: Lead legal due diligence, title verification, property searches and documentation for land acquisitions and real estate development projects.
- Litigation Management: Oversee ongoing litigation, cheque bounce matters under the Negotiable Instruments Act (NI Act), dispute resolution and coordination with external advocates and legal consultants.
- Corporate & Regulatory Compliance: Advise on corporate legal matters, statutory compliances, regulatory requirements and applicable real estate laws, including RERA.
- Project Financing: Coordinate with banks, financial institutions and lenders for legal documentation, financing agreements, security creation and related transactions.
- Legal Advisory:



Work closely with the leadership team on legal strategy, commercial negotiations, contractual obligations and risk mitigation.
- MIS & Reporting: Maintain litigation trackers, legal documentation records and project-wise legal MIS, ensuring timely updates and reporting to management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks, recommend corrective measures and ensure the company's legal interests are protected across all business operations.

What We're Looking For
- LLB/LLM from a recognised university.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in real estate and corporate law.
- Prior experience in the real estate or property development industry is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in property title verification, land acquisition and legal due diligence.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate and corporate agreements.
- Sound knowledge of RERA, Companies Act, Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act and other applicable laws.
- Experience in handling litigation, NI Act matters and coordinating with external legal counsels.
- Robust negotiation, analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- A commercially minded professional with the ability to independently manage legal matters in a fast-paced real estate development environment.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per month
