Assist doctors and nursing staff in daily labour room activities.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the labour room.

Prepare labour room beds before and after delivery.

Assist in preparing delivery instruments and equipment.

Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and materials.

Assist in shifting patients to and from the labour room.

Provide basic support and assistance to patients during labour.

Assist nursing staff during normal delivery procedures as instructed.

Clean and sterilize instruments as per hospital protocols.

Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding areas.

Refill and arrange medical supplies when required.





Assist in maintaining patient records and labour room registers.

Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Respond promptly to instructions from doctors and nursing staff.

Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety.

Report any unusual observations or emergencies to the nursing staff.

Assist in transferring newborns and mothers as instructed.

Maintain proper housekeeping in the labour room.

Perform other duties assigned by the department in-charge.
