Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Land Acquisition Manager based in Ahmedabad.

The Land Acquisition

Manager will identify and evaluate potential land parcels, conduct feasibility studies, and support strategic land use planning for residential projects. The role involves performing market research, analyzing local regulations and zoning, and coordinating with legal, finance, and design teams to assess risks, costs, and development potential. The individual will negotiate with landowners, prepare acquisition proposals, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Manager will also maintain relationships with brokers, consultants, and local authorities to support a steady pipeline of viable land opportunities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Land Use Planning skills, including understanding of zoning, regulatory frameworks, and development feasibility.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to evaluate land value, demand trends, and project viability.
- Candidates should possess experience in Acquisitions, including negotiation, deal structuring, and transaction management.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance, including budgeting, financial modeling, and ROI assessment for land deals.
- Relevant experience in real estate, urban development, or infrastructure projects, preferably in land acquisition or business development.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic use of mapping or GIS tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
