- Position Title: Kitchen Helper / Commis Assistant
- Monthly Salary: RM 1,700
- Work Shift: 12-hour shifts (Rotational day or night shifts depending on requirement)
- Rest Days: 1 day off per month
- Contract Length: 3 Years (Renewable/Fixed-Term)
- Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent physical health and stamina to manage 12-hour shifts in a busy kitchen setting.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow kitchen safety protocols.
- Open to working both day and night schedules.
- Valid passport holder ready for international relocation.
- No prior experience required; standard training will be provided on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meal Prep Support: Assist the main chefs by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Dishwashing & Cleaning: Ensure all plates, pots, pans, and kitchen tools are thoroughly washed and sanitized.
- Kitchen Hygiene:
Maintain immaculate cleanliness by regularly sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters and equipment.
- Inventory Handling: Assist in receiving stock deliveries, checking quantities, and storing items in the correct temperature zones.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste.
