Role - The Junior Welfare Officer role is a full-time, in office position. The individual will support employee welfare initiatives, including monitoring working conditions, addressing staff concerns, and coordinating social services and support programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with employee onboarding, facilitating basic training sessions related to welfare and workplace policies, and helping organize engagement activities that promote well-being.

The role also involves conducting interviews to understand employee needs, supporting recruitment processes for welfare-related positions, and maintaining accurate records of welfare cases and interventions.

Officer will collaborate with HR, management, and external agencies as needed to ensure a safe, fair, and supportive work environment for all team members.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of welfare,



employee well-being, and workplace support services.
- Experience or training in social services, including basic counseling, guidance, or community support.
- Skills in listening to employees to identify needs, concerns, and welfare issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse teams and staff levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Master Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of labor regulations, ethical workplace practices, and health and safety standards is an advantage.
