Job Summary

Dhanwantari Group of Institutions is looking for a qualified, skilled, and compassionate Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide, mentor, and support students in their academic, personal, emotional, and career development.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address students' academic, personal, emotional, and behavioural concerns.
2. Identify students facing academic difficulties, personal challenges, or adjustment issues and provide appropriate guidance.
3. Develop and implement effective counselling strategies to address individual student needs.
4. Coordinate with faculty members, parents, and administrative staff to monitor student progress and provide necessary support.
5.



Organize workshops, seminars, and awareness programmes on time management, study skills, stress management, career guidance, and personality development.
6. Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions, student concerns, and follow-up activities.
7. Promote a positive, secure, inclusive, and supportive learning environment within the institution.
8. Handle sensitive student matters professionally while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in student counselling, preferably in an educational institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Positive attitude and a student-focused approach.
