Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Logistics Worker role based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Logistics

Worker will assist in coordinating daily freight operations, including receiving, handling, and dispatching cargo for domestic and international shipments.

Responsibilities include preparing and checking shipment documentation, supporting customs clearance activities, and ensuring accurate labeling, packing, and inventory records. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to meet delivery timelines, resolve operational issues, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Worker will also help monitor shipment status, update tracking systems, and contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of basic logistics processes, including cargo handling, warehousing, and shipment dispatch.
- Ability to manage shipment documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs-related paperwork with high accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of international freight operations (air and ocean) and familiarity with ports, carriers, and logistics partners is an advantage.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, customers, and external vendors.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Comfort with using computers and logistics or inventory software for data entry and shipment tracking.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced workplace, including occasional handling of physical cargo within safety limits.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
