We are seeking a highly skilled offshore Informatica Developer to join our data integration team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in both Informatica PowerCenter (IPC) and Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

This role is highly specialized: we are looking for a developer who has tackled complex, operational use cases rather than standard data lake translations or basic ETL pipelines. You will be instrumental in migrating intricate mappings that contain embedded business logic from IPC to IDMC, navigating the technical gaps and conversion challenges along the way.

Key Responsibilities

Complex Data Integration: Design, develop, and migrate advanced workflows, mappings, and mapplets from Informatica PowerCenter (IPC) to Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

Operational Business Logic: Implement and manage complex business logic directly within Informatica processes. (Note: This role requires far more than easy 1:1 data mappings).

Migration Strategy & Execution: Lead the conversion of legacy IPC architectures to IDMC, actively identifying and engineering workarounds for the known shortcomings and limitations of IDMC during the migration process.

CDI-PC Utilization: Leverage Informatica Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) to assist with and streamline mapping conversions.

Performance & Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous unit testing on all Informatica developments.





Optimization: Proactively debug, troubleshoot, and performance-tune complex Informatica mappings to ensure optimal operational execution.

Operational Focus: Focus on operational data integration use cases, ensuring data reliability and logic accuracy for transactional business processes, rather than basic data lake loading.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Informatica Expertise: Strong, hands-on understanding of both Informatica PowerCenter (IPC) and Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), specifically regarding workflows, mappings, and mapplets.

Complex Mapping Experience: Proven track record of handling highly complex mappings that encapsulate heavy business logic.

Migration Nuance: Clear understanding of the technical challenges, feature gaps, and shortcomings of IDMC when migrating legacy processes from IPC.

Testing & Debugging: Demonstrable experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning within the Informatica ecosystem.

Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with Informatica CDI-PC to facilitate smooth mapping conversions.

Use Case Background: Proven background working on operational use cases. Candidates whose primary experience is strictly translating data for data lakes or analytical warehouses will not be a fit.

Communication: Strong ability to document technical processes, communicate migration roadblocks, and collaborate effectively with a global/distributed team during the required overlap hours
