The company also prints and distributes high-quality teaching materials for young learners sourced from leading publishers worldwide, giving team members exposure to global standards in children’s content.

Role Description The Independent Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role involves promoting and selling the company’s range of children’s books and educational materials to schools, bookstores, distributors, and other institutional buyers. Day-to-day tasks include identifying prospective clients, conducting sales meetings and product demonstrations, following up on leads, and maintaining solid relationships with existing customers.





The associate will manage order processing and coordination with internal teams, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and provide feedback to support product positioning and marketing initiatives. The role requires regular field visits, accurate reporting of sales activities, and achieving agreed sales targets while representing the brand professionally.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills with the ability to close deals and meet targets.
- Customer relationship management and networking skills to build and sustain long-term partnerships.
- Basic knowledge of publishing or educational products, with interest in children’s books and learning materials.
- Clear spoken and written communication skills in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and handle multiple accounts.
- Comfort with using email, spreadsheets, and mobile/online tools for reporting and order tracking.
- Prior experience in educational sales, book distribution, or FMCG field sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within Delhi/NCR and occasionally to other regions as required.
