Job Summary
Responsible for designing and developing mechanical equipment and sheet metal components using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D CAD software. The role involves creating 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation while ensuring designs meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical equipment, assemblies, and sheet metal components.
- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
- Ensure designs are accurate, practical, and suitable for manufacturing.
- Apply knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
- Resolve design and manufacturing-related technical issues.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain proper drawing and document revisions.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and project teams.
