Summary – Imaging Engineer (MECM/SCCM with Windows Autopilot Exposure)

Role Summary:

Responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise device imaging and provisioning solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), with exposure to Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Intune, and Contemporary Device Management technologies.

Key ResponsibilitiesL:

Build, maintain, and optimize Operating System Deployment (OSD) task sequences in MECM.

Create and manage Windows 11 reference images and deployment packages.

Troubleshoot imaging failures, PXE boot issues, driver management, and task sequence errors.

Manage boot images, distribution points, boundaries, and content distribution.

Package and deploy applications during the imaging process.

Coordinate hardware lifecycle activities, including support for Dell, HP, and Lenovo devices.





Support migration from traditional imaging to Modern Provisioning using Windows Autopilot.

Configure and manage Autopilot deployment profiles, enrollment status page (ESP), and device registration.

Integrate MECM with Microsoft Intune for co-management scenarios.

Develop and maintain imaging standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with Service Desk, Desktop Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

Monitor deployment success rates and implement continuous improvements to reduce imaging failures.
