- Lead DD and GFC production of HVAC packages for the Hospital, Medical College, Meditel, Residential, Central Utility Plant (CUP) and allied facilities.
- Review and validate the HVAC design basis, heat load calculations, airflow and air-change rates, equipment selections and system schematics from consultants.
- Ensure healthcare-specific HVAC requirements are met:

– Pressure cascades and zoning for OTs, ICUs, isolation rooms (AIIR/PE), CSSD, labs and pharmacy

– Filtration levels (HEPA/ULPA), laminar airflow and temperature/humidity control

– Fresh air, exhaust and smoke management systems

– Redundancy and continued operation for critical areas

- Drive production of GFC drawings: equipment layouts, ducting and piping layouts, plant room and AHU room layouts, sections, schematics, schedules and installation details.
- Lead value engineering of chiller plant configuration, AHU and system selection, duct/pipe sizing, heat recovery and controls to cut capital and operating costs without compromising clinical performance.
- Coordinate HVAC with Architecture, Structure, Electrical, PHE & Fire, ELV/BMS, Medical Equipment and Interiors. Provide shafts, plant spaces, openings and ceiling-void coordination, and resolve clashes through BIM coordination.
- Integrate energy efficiency and sustainability requirements (ECBC, IGBC/LEED/GRIHA) into the design.
- Prepare and review specifications, BOQ inputs, equipment data sheets and tender documents.
- Review consultant DD and GFC submissions for completeness, code compliance, constructability and drawing quality.
