- Policy & Procedure Implementation: Roll out and enforce company HSE policies, emergency response plans, and statutory/international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Administer or audit PTW systems, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), gas testing, confined space entry, lifting operations, and Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS).
- Lead and review Job Safety Analyses (JSA/JHA), Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and daily toolbox talks.
- Conduct routine site HSE inspections, DROPS (dropped objects) checks, housekeeping audits, and safety equipment verifications.
- Respond to site incidents, preserve evidence, lead root-cause investigations (using 5-Why or ICAM methods), and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Deliver safety orientations, contractor inductions, and specialized drills (fire, H2S, abandon platform/site, spill response).
- Monitor emissions, waste segregation, chemical handling, and oil-spill prevention measures.




- Maintain safety documentation, incident logs, and track safety performance metrics like TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) and LTIR (Lost Time Injury Rate).

Qualification

- Degree or Diploma: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Core Safety Certifications:• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent regional safety certification.
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Petroleum safety program.
- ISO 45001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification
