Role - Head Real Estate & Infrastructure Projects

Role Overview The Head of Real Estate & Infrastructure Projects will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's real estate strategy, including land acquisition, facility expansion, manufacturing plant development, office infrastructure, warehouse projects, and capital investments. The role will lead end-to-end project management activities from concept to commissioning while ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, regulatory compliance, budget targets, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement the company's real estate strategy in line with business growth plans.

Identify opportunities for land acquisition, facility expansion, consolidation, and optimization of existing assets.

Conduct feasibility studies, market assessments, and investment evaluations for current projects.

Drive location selection activities for manufacturing plants, R&D; centers, warehouses, and corporate offices.

Project Development & Execution

Lead end-to-end execution of greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects.

Manage project lifecycle including planning, design, budgeting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget, quality standards, and timelines.

Establish project governance frameworks and monitoring mechanisms.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, legal, finance, and HR teams.

Interface with government authorities, industrial development corporations, consultants, contractors, architects, and vendors.

Present project updates, risks, and investment recommendations to executive leadership.

Financial & Commercial Management

Prepare capital expenditure budgets and project financial models.





Monitor project costs and cash flow forecasts.

Lead commercial negotiations related to land acquisition, leases, construction contracts, and development agreements.

Ensure optimum utilization of capital investments and project resources.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national regulations related to construction and real estate development.

Manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability requirements.

Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Ensure adherence to internal governance and audit standards.

Vendor & Contractor Management

Select and manage architects, consultants, contractors, and project management agencies.Monitor contractor performance and service-level commitments.

Resolve commercial and operational disputes efficiently.

Sustainability & Innovation

Implement sustainable building practices and energy-efficient infrastructure solutions.

Drive digitalization and smart-building initiatives across facilities.

Support ESG and sustainability goals related to infrastructure projects.

Team Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing project management and real estate team.Develop project management capabilities within the organization.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Your Experience

15-20+ years of experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure Development, Construction Project Management, or Corporate Real Estate.

Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale industrial or manufacturing infrastructure projects.

Experience in automotive, manufacturing, engineering, industrial parks, or large corporate environments preferred.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

MBA (Operations/Finance/Project Management) preferred
