Vendor Manager – Semiconductor & VLSI Staffing

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vendor Manager to drive our vendor ecosystem development, manage end-to-end workforce augmentation, and lead our vendor operations team. In this role, you will lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and team leadership to ensure seamless talent delivery within the Semiconductor and VLSI sectors The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in technical talent acquisition, a proven track record of managing staff augmentation partners, and strong international business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

- Vendor Strategy & Ecosystem Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic staffing partners, vendors, and talent agencies specializing in Semiconductor and VLSI domains.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Vendor Specialists, and Coordinators, guiding their daily activities and growth opportunities.
- Workforce Augmentation & Talent Delivery: Collaborate with business leadership and engineering managers to understand technical hiring needs and drive staff augmentation pipelines.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor partners, fostering long-term collaborative hiring partnerships while maintaining accountability.
- SLA & Performance Tracking: Define, monitor,



and enforce vendor performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs), candidate submission quality, time-to-fill, and cost efficiency.
- Contract & Commercial Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, rate cards, master service agreements (MSAs), and statements of work (SOWs) with staffing vendors.

- Project Management & Operations: Oversee logistics and operational workflows related to candidate onboarding, vendor compliance, and resource allocation across multiple project teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience

- 12+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or workforce management.
- Demonstrated background managing vendor ecosystems within the Semiconductor, VLSI, or Hardware Engineering industries.
- Direct experience handling high-volume staff augmentation and technical hiring partnerships.

Education & Core Competence:

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree
- Negotiation & Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working in high-growth semiconductor or chip-design environments (e.g., fabless semiconductor firms, design services, or specialized staffing agencies).
- Knowledge of global sourcing strategies and international labor market dynamics.
