Title: Head of Procurement (IT and Non IT)

Role: We are looking for an experienced procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing, category management and vendor governance across IT and non-IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the overall procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, commercial negotiations and contract management across IT and non-IT categories.
- Manage diverse procurement categories, including Technology, Marketing, Facilities, HR, Travel, Qualified Services, Claims Support and Administration.
- Drive cost optimisation, spend efficiency and strategic vendor partnerships.
- Establish vendor performance metrics, SLAs and governance frameworks to ensure quality and service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, regulatory requirements, IRDAI guidelines and audit standards.
- Identify sourcing efficiencies,



alternate vendors and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Partner with business leaders, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance teams to align procurement strategies with organisational needs.
- Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering accountability and strong commercial practices.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduate in Commerce, Engineering or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience across both IT and non-IT procurement categories is essential.
- Prior experience in the BFSI / Insurance sector is preferred.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiation and vendor governance.
- Exposure to procurement automation and e-sourcing platforms would be an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
