SwitchLabs Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. is an end-to-end electric heavy commercial vehicle (eHCV) logistics company providing Freight-as-a-Service (FaaS) for enterprise customers. The company operates EV truck fleets, develops charging infrastructure, manages fleet command centres, telematics, battery performance, route optimization, energy management and ESG-focused logistics solutions across India.

Position Summary The Head of Operations is responsible for the overall operational strategy, profitability, scalability and service delivery of SwitchLabs. The role owns nationwide fleet operations, charging readiness, customer SLA delivery, operational governance, fleet productivity and operational excellence while building a high-performance operations organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the national operations strategy aligned with annual business goals.
- Drive fleet utilization, vehicle uptime and revenue per truck.
- Establish operational governance across all regional clusters.
- Lead regional operations teams and review performance through structured business reviews.
- Own customer SLA delivery and executive customer governance.
- Develop scalable SOPs for dispatch, charging, maintenance and control tower operations.
- Build annual operating plans, manpower plans and capacity plans.
- Lead expansion into recent operating regions and customer sites.
- Review operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Drive operational automation through telematics, dashboards and analytics.
- Define organization-wide KPIs and review mechanisms.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, operating cost optimization and working capital.
- Review fleet productivity, turnaround time and charging efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Product, Fleet and Charging teams.
- Oversee OEM relationships for service quality and uptime improvement.




- Review charger deployment readiness before fleet deployment.
- Drive safety, compliance and audit readiness across locations.
- Mentor future operational leaders and succession planning.
- Present operational performance to founders and board when required.

• Champion a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Decision Making Authority Approve operational policies, manpower allocation, regional resource deployment, fleet deployment priorities, vendor recommendations, escalation decisions and operational CAPEX proposals within delegated authority.

Internal Stakeholders

CEO, COO, Finance, Sales, HR, Fleet Technical Team, Charging Team, Control Tower, Product & Technology.

External Stakeholders

Enterprise customers, OEMs, charging partners, logistics partners, vendors, government authorities, insurers and financiers.

Required Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. MBA in Operations/Supply Chain preferred.

Preferred Experience

47 years in logistics, automotive, EV mobility, supply chain or large fleet operations, with at least 4 years leading multi-location teams and owning operational P&L.;
