Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Head – Finance (Controllership) to lead the end-to-end finance function with complete ownership of financial reporting, accounting, compliance,

taxation, audits, treasury oversight, and internal controls. The role requires a strong technical accounting background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build robust financial processes while ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controllership

 Lead end-to-end accounting and financial controllership for the organization.

 Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.

 Drive preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and

Companies Act requirements.

 Own General Ledger (GL), balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and financial governance.

 Review accounting policies and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards.

Financial Reporting & MIS

 Lead preparation of management reports, board decks, and business performance reports.

 Deliver insightful MIS, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for leadership.

 Support strategic decision-making through meaningful financial analysis.

 Ensure timely submission of statutory and group reporting requirements.

Compliance & Taxation

 Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC,

FEMA, and Companies Act.

 Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for assessments and filings.





 Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary process updates.

Audit & Internal Controls

 Lead statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.

 Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.

 Develop SOPs and drive process standardization and automation.

Treasury & Working Capital

 Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and banking relationships.

 Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and fund utilization.

 Support treasury operations and financing activities.

Business Partnering

 Partner with business leaders to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

 Provide financial insights on pricing, investments, and strategic initiatives.

 Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

Team Leadership

 Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.

 Drive capability building and establish a high-performance finance function.

Desired Candidate Profile

 Chartered Accountant with 8–10 years of post-qualification experience.

 Strong experience in end-to-end financial controllership.

 Hands-on experience in financial reporting, accounting, audits, taxation,

compliance, and treasury.

 Solid knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and financial controls.

 Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.

 Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

 Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

 Prior experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, or D2C organizations will be preferred.
