Position: Head, Brand Communications & Consumer Experience

Company: Confidential (Innovation-led sustainable household cleaning company pioneering zero-plastic)

Location: Mumbai (Mon-Sat - 9 am- 6 pm)

Experience: 10-15 years (Brand, communications and consumer marketing leadership, with proven experience across brand strategy, packaging, content, PR, influencer marketing and agency management)

Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Branding, Communications or a related discipline

Background Sought: Must bring FMCG / D2C / Lifestyle / Consumer Brands experience Brand Strategy Packaging Communication PR & Influencer Marketing Agency & Cross-functional Team Management, with solid storytelling and copywriting skills. Working knowledge of AI-enabled creative tools is desirable.

Role purpose

This leadership role will shape how consumers perceive, experience and remember the brand. You will own brand strategy, product launch communication, packaging, content, PR, influencer marketing, corporate communications and the end-to-end consumer brand experience across every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

✅ Define and evolve brand positioning, architecture, voice and messaging

✅ Lead communication strategy for all product launches: naming, positioning, claims hierarchy, storytelling and GTM communication

✅ Own packaging communication: front/back-of-pack messaging, icons, usage instructions and sustainability claims

✅ Develop integrated content strategy across website, social media, marketplaces, blogs, email and offline channels

✅ Provide creative direction for campaigns, videos, photography, brochures, POSM, exhibitions and presentations

✅ Own website storytelling,



landing pages and overall digital brand experience

✅ Build influencer, creator and ambassador programmes, including UGC and affiliate initiatives

✅ Lead PR, founder branding, media relations, award submissions and corporate communication

✅ Drive customer education through how-to content, sustainability education and category awareness

✅ Lead consumer research, competitor benchmarking and market insights

✅ Plan and execute exhibitions, brand activations and corporate events

✅ Manage creative, PR, influencer and production agencies while building an internal brand team

✅ Collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, R&D;, Product Development, Manufacturing and Customer Support

✅ Operate with a founder's mindset and continuously strengthen long-term brand equity
