Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented General Manager - Business Operations to take overall responsibility for managing and driving the company's business activities. The selected candidate will act as the second-in-command to the Managing Director, with responsibility for overseeing Sales, Business Development, Production, Planning, Procurement, Project Execution, Installation, and overall operational performance. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, sound commercial and technical understanding, and the ability to independently manage multiple departments while ensuring business growth, profitability, quality, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales &
- Business Development

- Lead sales operations, business development, client acquisition, and key account management.

- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, market expansion, and new business opportunities.

- Oversee major quotations, commercial negotiations, tender participation, and order finalization.

- Production &

- Manufacturing

- Supervise manufacturing operations, production planning, capacity utilization, and productivity.

- Ensure effective coordination between design, procurement, production, quality, and dispatch teams.

- Monitor manufacturing costs, material utilization, operational efficiency, and quality standards.

- Project Management &

- Execution

- Oversee complete project execution from order confirmation to final installation and handover.

- Ensure timely delivery, site coordination, manpower planning, and customer satisfaction.





- Handle critical project-related challenges and ensure effective resolution.

- Overall Business Operations

- Independently manage day-to-day company operations and interdepartmental coordination.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), performance monitoring systems, and operational controls.

- Monitor business profitability, cost optimization, operational budgets, and departmental KPIs.

- Provide regular MIS reports and performance updates to the Managing Director.

- Leadership &

- Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage departmental heads and operational teams.

- Establish accountability, discipline, performance standards, and a result-oriented work culture.

- Serve as the primary decision-making authority for routine business operations within delegated powers.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 15-20 years of professional experience, including substantial experience in senior management or business leadership.

- Strong background in industrial manufacturing, preferably warehouse racking systems, steel fabrication, material handling equipment, or related engineering industries.

- Proven ability to manage sales, manufacturing, projects, and cross-functional teams.

- Robust knowledge of costing, commercial negotiations, production planning, and project execution.

- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

- Capability to independently manage business operations with minimum day-to-day intervention from the Managing Director.

- Engineering degree preferred
- MBA or equivalent management qualification will be an added advantage.
