We are looking for an experienced and highly accomplished General Manager – Residence Operations to oversee the end-to-end operations of a prestigious private residence in Mumbai.

The role requires a seasoned hospitality professional with exceptional leadership, operational excellence, financial acumen, and a strong understanding of luxury service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all estate operations, including Housekeeping, Culinary, Butler Services, Engineering, Security, Horticulture, Fleet, Wellness and Leisure.
- Establish and maintain five-star hospitality service standards, ensuring exceptional service delivery, discretion, and personalised experiences.
- Manage overall budgets, vendor contracts, procurement, petty cash, invoice approvals, and financial reporting.
- Oversee HR and administration, including staffing, rosters, payroll, employee training, performance management, and statutory compliance.
- Manage external liaison with BMC, Police authorities, Residents' Associations, and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensure timely renewal of statutory licences, NOCs, property registrations, and other compliance requirements.




- Lead crisis management and emergency response, ensuring preparedness for security incidents, medical emergencies, fire, and utility failures.
- Drive departmental SOPs, preventive maintenance schedules, operational audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads while fostering a culture of professionalism, confidentiality, warmth, and anticipatory service.
- Act as the single point of accountability for the Family Office on all operational matters.

Desired Profile

- 15–20 years of relevant experience in luxury hospitality, five-star hotel operations, or premium private residence management.
- Proven experience in managing large, multidisciplinary teams and complex operational environments.
- Strong understanding of luxury service standards, guest experience, and personalized service delivery.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, vendor management, and cost control.
- Experience in HR administration, statutory compliance, and workforce management.
- Strong crisis management, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High standards of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and skilled conduct.
- Ability to manage a full-time resident role with 24/7 accountability and emergency availability.
