Role Description The Freelance Ecad Mcad Wiring Harness Trainer will deliver on-site training sessions at ByteForge Institute’s Coimbatore location as part of a contract engagement. This role involves designing and conducting structured lessons on ECAD and MCAD tools, wiring harness design principles, and industry standards for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications. The trainer will prepare training materials, practical exercises, and project-based assignments that simulate real-world wiring harness workflows.

Day-to-day activities include teaching batches of learners,



demonstrating software workflows, supervising lab sessions, reviewing project work, providing individualized feedback, and supporting learners in building job-ready portfolios. The trainer will collaborate with the institute’s academic team to align course content with current industry practices and may participate in curriculum updates, assessments, and interview preparation support.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in ECAD and MCAD tools used for wiring harness design (e.g., CATIA Electrical, Siemens NX, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in wiring harness development, routing, 2D/3D drawings, BOM creation, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Ability to design structured training modules, practical lab exercises, and project-based learning activities tailored to diverse learner backgrounds.
- Effective teaching, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with transparent communication and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Familiarity with automotive, aerospace, or industrial product development lifecycles and cross-functional collaboration with design and manufacturing teams.
- Comfort with using digital tools for presentations, assessments, and learner tracking; basic proficiency with office and collaboration software.
- Prior training, corporate teaching, or technical mentoring experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
