Role Description The Financial Accounts Lead/Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and timely preparation of financial statements. The position involves managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and statutory requirements.

The Financial Accounts

Lead/Manager will prepare budgets, monitor cash flow, support audits, and provide financial reports and analysis to leadership for decision-making.



The role also includes improving financial processes, implementing controls, coordinating with external partners such as auditors and banks, and supporting senior management with financial planning and for ecasting.

Qualifications

- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, finalization of accounts, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with taxation, statutory compliance, and audit coordination, preferably in an SME or design/creative industry workplace.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, MS Excel, and financial analysis tools to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll-related processes, and vendor/client financial communication.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and process improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a financial lead or managerial accounting role, with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and support strategic decision-making.
