Enzene Biosciences is a Pune-based biologics CDMO serving global pharmaceutical and biotech customers from India and the US. Customers, investors and regulators increasingly assess CDMOs on ESG performance, and we have committed to being rated on the S&P; Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (DJSI) and EcoVadis.

We’ve completed gap assessments against both frameworks, built our first GHG inventory and published our first Sustainability Report. We’re now looking for an ESG Expert to bring this capability in-house and own it end to end.

What you’ll do

- Own the annual S&P; Global CSA (DJSI) and EcoVadis submissions, from evidence collection and drafting to portal upload and score analysis
- Drive the gap-closure roadmap across both frameworks before each submission window
- Track yearly methodology changes and translate them into policy, data or disclosure updates
- Lead the Sustainability Report (GRI), BRSR disclosures and CDP (Climate, Water); build readiness for ISSB/IFRS S1 and S2
- Run the GHG inventory (Scope 1, 2, 3) per the GHG Protocol
- Build the ESG data system: KPI dictionary, data owners, collection calendar, quarterly dashboard




- Respond to customer ESG questionnaires, PSCI and supplier sustainability audits, and investor queries
- Draft and maintain ESG policies
- Act as secretary to the CSR & Sustainability Committee
- Manage the ESG vendor, assurance providers and rating-agency relationships

What we’re looking for

- Master’s degree with minimum 3 years full-time experience in ESG / sustainability (industry or consulting)
- Hands-on experience filing at least one complete DJSI/CSA and one EcoVadis submission, including evidence collection and portal upload
- EcoVadis corrective action plan experience
- Working knowledge of GRI, BRSR, GHG Protocol and at least one of CDP, SASB or TCFD/ISSB
- Solid written English for public disclosures and policies
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Good to have

- Pharma, biologics, CDMO, chemicals or regulated manufacturing background
- Track record of improving CSA or EcoVadis scores across cycles
- Exposure to SBTi, LCA/product carbon footprinting, ISO 14001 / 45001 / 50001
