Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated and experienced ER Staff Nurses and ER Incharges to provide immediate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room. The candidates should have strong clinical knowledge, emergency management skills, and the ability to handle critical situations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide immediate nursing care to patients arriving at the Emergency Room.
- Perform initial patient assessment and monitor vital signs.
- Triage patients based on the severity of their medical condition.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, resuscitation, and critical interventions.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor critically ill patients and report changes in their condition immediately.
- Maintain accurate patient records, emergency notes, and nursing documentation.
- Ensure proper handling of emergency equipment, crash carts, and life-support devices.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, radiology, ICU, and other departments.
- Ensure timely transfer of patients to the appropriate departments.





Additional Responsibilities – ER Incharge
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities in the Emergency Room.
- Manage nursing staff allocation, duty rosters, and shift scheduling.
- Ensure proper triage, emergency response, and patient-care standards.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Conduct regular checks of emergency equipment, crash carts, and medical supplies.
- Identify training requirements and guide ER nursing staff.
- Handle emergency department operational issues and escalate concerns to the Nursing Head.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with quality and patient safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
- 2–15 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Hospital experience is mandatory.
- Previous ER / Emergency Department experience is preferred.
- Experience in nursing supervision is preferred for the ER Incharge position.
- Positive knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and patient triage.
- Ability to handle critical situations and emergencies effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
