Job Title: Electrical QA/QC Engineer Solar

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Quality Engineer for solar power projects. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring the quality of electrical installation activities as per approved drawings, technical specifications, project standards, and applicable electrical codes.

1. Monitor and inspect electrical installation activities at solar project sites.
2. Ensure quality compliance in solar PV module installation.
3. Inspect DC cable laying, routing, dressing, termination, and connections.
4. Monitor AC cable laying, cable tray installation, and cable termination.
5. Inspect installation of inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, and switchgear.
6. Verify earthing and lightning protection system installation.
7. Inspect DCDB, ACDB, junction boxes, and electrical equipment.
8. Ensure proper installation of SCADA, communication cables, and monitoring systems.
9. Verify electrical works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
10. Conduct inspections and prepare Inspection Requests (WIR).
11. Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)



and quality checklists.
12. Coordinate with client representatives and third-party inspection agencies.
13. Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
14. Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
15. Review electrical test reports and commissioning documentation.
16. Maintain daily quality reports and inspection records.

Required Technical Skills

- Knowledge of solar PV power plant electrical systems.
- Understanding of DC and AC electrical installations.
- Knowledge of solar module, inverter, and transformer installation.
- Experience in HT/LT cable laying and termination.
- Knowledge of earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Understanding of insulation resistance (IR), continuity, and earth resistance testing.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLD).
- Familiarity with ITP, WIR, MIR, NCR, and method statements.
- Knowledge of applicable IS, IEC, and electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation.

Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
