Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalgaon, responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing, supply chain, and chemical distribution activities. This role leads operational planning, monitors production performance, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across facilities. The Director of Operations manages cross-functional teams, optimizes workflows, controls budgets, and collaborates with senior leadership on process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing operational metrics, resolving escalated issues, coordinating with procurement and logistics, and maintaining robust relationships with internal stakeholders and key customers. The position requires a hands-on approach to guiding teams, implementing best practices, and driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting operational data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, including leadership, coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills for planning, cost control, and resource allocation across multiple operational units.

- Relevant experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or pharmaceutical ingredients is highly beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role with responsibility for multiple teams and facilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work on-site and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
