Role Description The Director of Research Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik, responsible for leading and advancing the institution’s research agenda across medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health disciplines. This role involves designing and implementing research strategies, overseeing proposal development, and supporting faculty and student research projects from concept to publication. The Director will coordinate multidisciplinary research initiatives, manage research timelines and resources, and ensure compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Daily responsibilities include mentoring research teams, building collaborations with external partners and funding agencies,



monitoring project progress, and promoting a culture of innovation and evidence-based practice. The Director will also contribute to strategic planning for research infrastructure, organize workshops and seminars, and report regularly to institutional leadership on research performance and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D;) and applied Research, including experience in designing, conducting, and evaluating academic or clinical studies.
- Demonstrated Team Leadership and Team Management skills, with a track record of guiding multidisciplinary teams and fostering team-oriented research environments.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and monitoring multiple concurrent research initiatives.
- Advanced degree (preferably PhD or equivalent) in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, public health, or a related health sciences field.
- Experience in academic or institutional research leadership, including grant writing, research funding acquisition, and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Knowledge of research ethics, regulatory guidelines, and institutional review processes relevant to healthcare and biomedical research.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Nashik, engage with faculty, students, and hospital teams, and contribute to long-term institutional research strategy.
