Role Description The Director of Photography (DoP) at Passionbits is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading the visual execution of video projects across a distributed creator and studio network. This role oversees camera and lighting setups, collaborates with directors and producers to define the visual style, and ensures consistency with brand and project guidelines. The DoP will plan shot lists, supervise on-set and remote crews, advise on equipment selection,



and optimize workflows for both live-action and AI-assisted production.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing scripts and treatments, providing creative input on cinematography, maintaining quality standards across multiple projects, and adapting visual approaches for diverse platforms and audiences.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Camera Operation and use of professional Camera systems.
- Proficiency in Lighting design, setup, and control for various environments.
- Experience in Video Production, including pre-production planning and on-set supervision.
- Proven expertise in Cinematography, visual storytelling, and composition.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote and distributed production teams.
- Familiarity with digital video workflows, file management, and basic post-production processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Prior experience directing photography for branded content, social media, or episodic formats is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with or learning AI-assisted production tools and emerging media technologies.
- Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in film, media, or a related field.
