Working hours: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

Days off: Four days per month on a rotating schedule. Sunday is not a fixed day off.

Job type: Full-time, on-site at our showroom

Reports to: General Manager (GM)

We are looking for someone who can write content for our crockery and homeware showroom, coordinate our in-house Graphic Designer and Videographer, run digital marketing activities, and convert online enquiries into sales. Hands-on SEO, Meta Ads and Google Ads are required.

This is a retail showroom role. During busy periods, you will help customers on the showroom floor and support the sales team. Following company procedures, working with other departments, and actively participating in team activities and company programmes are part of the job.

Key responsibilities

- Plan marketing and write content. Prepare the monthly marketing plan and content calendar and submit them to the GM. Write your own content ideas, poster copy, video scripts and captions for product demos, new arrivals, offers, combos and showroom events. Specify what the presenter should say and what the video should show. Keep up with social media trends and retail marketing practices, and turn relevant ideas into posters and reels suited to our customers.
- Assign and follow up on work. Collect and verify product details, prices, stock, offer terms and validity with the relevant Floor Manager. Give the Graphic Designer and Videographer transparent briefs and deadlines. Arrange products, presenters and filming times. Follow up with other departments for information and support, review finished work, and make sure corrections are completed. Inform the GM promptly if a delay or issue cannot be resolved.
- Keep publishing on schedule. The team’s daily production target is 3–4 posters and 1–2 videos. The in-house team handles the main design, filming and editing. You should be able to make minor edits yourself when needed, such as updating poster text, trimming a reel or adding subtitles. Publish GM-approved content on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business and YouTube as scheduled, and check that it went live correctly. Work with the Videographer to keep seven days of approved videos and captions ready in advance.
- Handle online sales directly. On duty days, manage the company’s online sales phone and respond directly to calls, WhatsApp messages and social media enquiries. Understand what customers need, recommend suitable products, and verify stock and approved prices. Follow up with interested customers to convert enquiries into orders. Coordinate order confirmation, payment verification and delivery with the relevant teams, and follow up on pending orders. Do not promise discounts, refunds or delivery times without approval. Hand over the phone, messages and pending orders on days off as required by the company SOP.
- Manage customer feedback and loyalty points. Monitor comments and Google Reviews,

respond where appropriate, and follow up on issues. Invite customers to share their purchase experience. If they agree, arrange recording with the Videographer and obtain permission before publishing. Customer testimonial videos must not be used in paid ads or boosted posts. Coordinate the Customer Loyalty Points programme with the Sales and Billing teams, explain the approved rules for earning and using points, and follow up on complaints until resolved.
- Update website product information and offers, upload approved banners, and remove expired promotions. Keep business information, photos and posts on Google Business Profile up to date. Carry out SEO directly: research relevant keywords, improve page titles, descriptions and content, and use Google Search Console to check indexing and search performance. Refer technical issues to the web team and follow up until they are resolved.
- Set up and run Meta Ads and Google Ads directly. Recommend campaign objectives, audiences, creative material and expected costs. Run campaigns only within the GM-approved budget. Review spending, enquiries, qualified leads and resulting orders, and use the findings to improve campaign performance.
- Coordinate showroom marketing. Work with Floor Managers and the content team on offer boards, combo displays, new product promotions and showroom events. Make sure prices and offer details match across the showroom and social media. Use social media to help increase awareness of the store, showroom visits and sales enquiries.
- Coordinate visiting vloggers and external video production teams. Before the shoot, prepare the content brief, talking points, products and offers to feature, and the route and filming order across showroom floors and sections. Be present during filming to guide the team and arrange any support they need. Agree on a delivery date, review the video, follow up on corrections, and authorise publication only after GM approval.
- Obtain quotations and follow up on external work. Brief vendors on specifications, quantities and deadlines for flyers, printing and outsourced design. Compare quotations and scope, submit them to the GM, and assign work only after approval. Follow up on proofs, corrections, printing and delivery, and verify the quality and quantity received. Provide product information and images to external teams handling web design, e-commerce setup and online product listings. Agree on deadlines, check completed work and get errors corrected. External teams handle the technical work; you are responsible for coordinating it through completion.
- Submit work logs to the GM every duty-day evening.

Submit both your own Daily Work Log and a consolidated log for the entire social media team. Collect and verify updates from the Designer and Videographer. Include planned and completed work, links to published content, enquiries, orders and pending tasks. For each pending task, note the reason for delay, next action, person responsible and deadline.
- Organise the required weekly and monthly review meetings. Agree on dates and times with the GM, prepare the agenda, and arrange attendance by the relevant staff and department leads. Use the weekly meeting to review content, enquiries, pending follow-ups, orders and the next week’s priorities. At the monthly meeting, present website traffic from Google Analytics, social media and SEO performance, ad spending, lead quality and sales conversion. Record confirmed orders separately from paid sales. Recommend changes for the next month, document decisions, assign responsibilities and deadlines, and follow up until actions are completed.

The company phone, social media pages, ad accounts, work files and reports must remain under company control.

Required skills and experience

- Practical knowledge of branding and marketing. Know how to use the company’s name, logo and messaging consistently across posters, videos and showroom promotions. Be able to identify the right audience and plan messages that help generate visits, enquiries and sales.
- Strong communication skills. Good spoken and written English is required. You must also be able to speak clearly with customers in Malayalam and write natural Malayalam scripts and captions.
- Practical experience managing business social media pages, creating content, assigning work and coordinating across departments through completion.
- Ability to respond to online enquiries, follow up with customers and convert enquiries into sales.
- Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Search Console, Meta Ads and Google Ads. Ability to prepare marketing reports using Google Analytics, social media performance data, lead quality and sales conversion.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills using Canva, Photoshop, CapCut or similar tools.

Added advantage: Experience using AI tools to develop content ideas, scripts, images or short videos. Verify AI-assisted content for accuracy before use.
