Key Responsibilities

- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, scan, and deployment activities.
- Deploy applications across VM-based, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments using existing deployment frameworks, Ansible playbooks, and Helm charts.
- Support software release activities including artifact promotion, deployment validation, smoke testing, and rollback execution.
- Configure and maintain environment-specific deployment settings, inventory files, Helm values, ConfigMaps, and application properties.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and configuration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Assist in managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift, including deployments, services, secrets, ingress, and application health checks.
- Support database deployment activities and configuration updates for Oracle and PostgreSQL environments.
- Monitor deployment health, investigate failures, and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, QA, platform, and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery.
- Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Contribute to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within the release and deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Solid understanding of Jenkins Declarative Pipelines and basic Groovy scripting.
- Experience with Maven, Docker, and application build and packaging processes.
- Knowledge of artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Nexus.




- Hands-on experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and deployment automation.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Helm-based deployments.
- Experience with Linux administration, systemd services, log analysis, and basic networking troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Git and source control platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
- Understanding of containerization concepts and Docker image management.
- Experience working with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Trivy.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application deployment and infrastructure layers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with experience creating technical documentation and runbooks.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with OpenShift and deployment management using the oc CLI.
- Knowledge of Liquibase and database migration processes.
- Exposure to Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault or enterprise secrets management solutions.
- Basic experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services.
- Understanding of Jenkins Shared Libraries and pipeline standardization practices.
- Familiarity with API gateway and reverse proxy technologies such as KrakenD and NGINX.
- Basic knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
- Exposure to security scanning tools such as Checkmarx, Fortify, and OWASP Dependency-Check.
- Familiarity with Newman/Postman-based API validation and testing.
- Experience in fintech, payments, telecom, or other transaction-processing environments.
