We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Engineer with strong experience in New Product Development (NPD) & Special purpose Machine (SPM). The role focuses on designing, developing, validating, and optimizing industrial projects, while ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric, with expertise in part modelling, detailing, assemblies, sheet metal, and welding.
- The design considers manufacturability, cost, performance, and durability.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in sheet metal design and fabrication techniques to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Expertise in NPD / VAVE / SPM / Manufacturing Process.
- Ensure adherence to GD&T; and welding standards to maintain precision, quality, and manufacturability.
- Utilize DFMA and VAVE methodologies to optimize product value, reduce cost, and improve assembly efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Design Engineering with exposure to New Product Development (NPD)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes: stamping, casting, and plastics
- Knowledge of VAVE methodologies
- Qualification required BE in Mechanical / Production ( Specialization in NPD / SPM )
- Hands-on experience with prototype development, validation, and testing
- Proficiency in GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Positive communication and coordination skills
