Our client is a leading global product-based SaaS organisation offering enterprise tax technology solutions, including tax determination, compliance, e-invoicing, reporting and regulatory solutions to businesses worldwide.

Organization: Global Capability Center, Vertex Global Professional Services | Location: Hyderabad, India | Reports to: VP, Global Qualified Services

Role Summary

Lead professional-services delivery for the Global Capability Center, partnering with U.S. and global teams to build consulting capacity, deliver high-quality customer outcomes, and serve as the primary local delivery leader.

Key Responsibilities

· Recruit, develop, and scale functional and technical teams implementing Vertex Global Compliance and Tax Calculation solutions.

· Direct the GCC delivery portfolio across scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, escalations, and recovery plans.

· Align global and GCC teams on ownership, handoffs, communication, and customer readiness.

· Protect delivery quality through governance, testing, readiness reviews, and lessons learned.

· Manage staffing, utilization, forecasts, engagement economics, time-recording accuracy, billing exceptions, and delegated commercial controls.

· Improve delivery methods, reusable knowledge, cross-functional coordination, confidentiality, security, and compliance.

Success Measures





· Implementation revenue, gross margin, and billable utilization.

· Customer satisfaction, net revenue retention influence, on-time delivery, and go-live success.

· Employee engagement, attrition, forecast accuracy, and escalation-resolution effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· 12+ years of enterprise software implementation, professional services, or consulting experience.

· 5+ years leading managers and large delivery organizations.

· Experience leading distributed teams serving North America, EMEA, and APAC.

· Demonstrated portfolio governance, capacity planning, forecasting, commercial management, customer escalation, talent development, and cross-functional leadership.

· Background in enterprise SaaS, cloud, ERP, tax technology, e-Invoicing, finance, compliance, or related platforms.

· Communication: Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

· Values: Demonstrates Vertex’s core values in day-to-day work and interactions with customers and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA.

· Experience in a global services organization.

· Knowledge of APIs, integration technologies, cloud architecture, AI-enabled delivery, and automation.
