Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with robust expertise in SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in dimensional modeling, Databricks, Delta Lake, and semantic modeling to design scalable data models supporting enterprise analytics and BI requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Build scalable data models for enterprise data warehousing and analytics.
- Implement dimensional modeling techniques, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Work with Databricks, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Medallion Architecture.
- Design semantic models, semantic views, metric definitions, and BI semantic layers.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data transformation, integration, and reporting.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and BI teams.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, quality, and standardization.
- Maintain technical documentation covering data models, business definitions, relationships, and metadata.

Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of overall experience with at least 2+ years in Data Modeling.




- Strong SQL and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing.
- Strong understanding of Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.
- Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Medallion Architecture.
- Hands-on experience in Semantic Modeling, semantic views, metric definitions, and BI semantic layers.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have
- Finance domain experience: General Ledger (GL), Revenue, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Procurement.
- Experience with ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, SQLDBM, or Lucidchart.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data engineering environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into structured data models.
- Understanding of data governance and modeling best practices.
- Good stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
