Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable professional for the position of Assistant Manager Customs Clearance. The candidate must hold a valid Customs G-Category Pass and have 5–7 years of hands-on experience in customs clearance operations, with sound knowledge of customs regulations, procedures and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end customs clearance activities for import and export shipments.
- Manage customs clearance operations at Air Cargo Complexes, Sea Ports, ICDs and other customs stations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Customs Act, rules, regulations and procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate documentation,assessment, examination and clearance processes.
- Handle Bill of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bill filing and other customs-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Customs Officers, Customs Brokers, shipping lines, airlines,



transporters and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely clearance of shipments and resolve operational issues or documentation discrepancies.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations, notifications, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Ensure proper utilization and compliance with the Customs G-Category Pass.
- Maintain operational records and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
- Guide and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient customs clearance operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Customs Clearance.
- Must possess a valid Customs G-Category Pass.
- Strong knowledge of customs rules, regulations, procedures and clearance processes.
- Hands-on experience in Air and/or Sea Customs Clearance.
- Experience working at Customs Stations, Air Cargo Complexes, Seaports or ICDs.
- Good understanding of import/export documentation, assessment and examination procedures.
- Solid coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle customs clearance operations and manage operational challenges.
