About the Role

WeGolden is looking for an experienced and results-driven Country Manager to lead its business development and market expansion in India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the local market, building strategic partnerships, expanding our Introducing Broker (IB) and Master Introducing Broker (MIB) network, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement business strategies to expand WeGolden's presence in India.
- Identify, recruit and manage IB/MIB partners, trading communities and affiliate networks.
- Drive client acquisition, account funding, deposit growth and trading activity.
- Build and manage a local Sales and Business Development team.
- Set commercial targets and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong industry relationships.
- Coordinate with regional teams across Marketing, Operations, Product and Compliance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and business opportunities.
- Ensure business activities comply with applicable local regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

- Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in Forex Business Development, Sales Management, IB Management or a similar role.




- Strong knowledge of the Indian forex market and established local industry connections.
- Proven experience in client acquisition, partnership development and revenue generation.
- Good understanding of forex brokerage operations and IB/MIB commission structures.
- Experience with MT4/MT5, copy trading or automated trading solutions is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and working proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of business targets.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility based on business requirements.

Work Location & Arrangement

- Location: India.
- The role will initially be remote until the India office is established.
- The candidate must be willing to transition to an onsite arrangement once the office is operational.
- Flexibility to travel within India as required for business activities.
