Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that enhance DNEG’s community and internal initiatives. This role involves recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking participation, and ensuring volunteers are informed and engaged in ongoing projects and events. The Coordinator will plan and deliver training sessions, maintain clear communication channels, and act as a primary point of contact for volunteer queries and feedback.

Day-to-day tasks include liaising with internal teams and external partners to identify volunteer needs, coordinating outreach programs, and preparing reports on volunteer engagement and impact. The role also requires continuous improvement of volunteer processes to create a positive, inclusive, and productive volunteer experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to effectively organize, support,



and develop volunteer teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, share information clearly, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience to plan, coordinate, and evaluate initiatives that connect DNEG with external communities.
- Experience in event coordination, program administration, or community engagement is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and use digital tools or databases for scheduling and reporting.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, equity, and respectful collaboration in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social work, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred.
