Compliance Officer (Sr. Executive Off roll / Contingent Roll)

Experience: 2-3 Years

Reporting To: Site HR leader

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer with 2-3 years of experience to ensure the organization's adherence to applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements. The incumbent will support compliance audits, maintain statutory records, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory & Legal Compliance

- Ensure compliance with labour laws, including PF, ESI, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, records, licenses, and notices.
- Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure timely submission of compliance documents in coordination with all the vendors.
- Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and audits.

Contractor Compliance Management

- Verify and monitor contractor statutory compliance documents.
- Ensure contractors comply with labour laws and contractual obligations.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits of contractors and vendors.
- Maintain compliance trackers and MIS reports.

Audit & Documentation

- Support internal and external compliance audits.
- Prepare compliance reports, presentations, and dashboards for management review.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for legal and statutory requirements.
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Policy Compliance

- Conduct awareness sessions on compliance requirements.




- Support investigations related to non-compliance matters.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Liaise with HR, Finance, Administration, Legal, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory bodies frequently where ever required.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, HR Compliance, Statutory Compliance, or Industrial Relations.
- Experience in contractor compliance monitoring and labor law compliance preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valuable analytical and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance activities and deadlines.

Preferred Certifications

- Diploma/Certification in Labor Laws, Industrial Relations, Compliance Management, or HR Practices (preferred).
