Role Overview

AIML is proposing to establish a branch at GIFT City and explore registration with IFSCA under the Distributor category. We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support the registration process, ensure regulatory compliance and establish the compliance framework for the proposed operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the IFSCA registration and licensing process for the proposed Distributor business.

- Ensure compliance with applicable IFSCA regulations, guidelines and reporting requirements.

- Develop and implement compliance policies, internal controls and regulatory procedures.

- Oversee AML/KYC compliance, client due diligence and regulatory documentation.

- Manage regulatory filings, periodic reporting and coordination with IFSCA.





- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable requirements.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors and regulatory authorities.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within GIFT City or an IFSCA-regulated entity.

- Understanding of IFSCA regulations, preferably relating to distribution of financial products or capital markets.

- Exposure to AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring and documentation.

- Experience supporting regulatory registration or licensing processes will be an advantage.

- Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Law or a related discipline. CA, CS or relevant qualified qualifications preferred.

Preferred Candidate Background

Candidates from IFSCA-regulated entities, fund management companies, financial product distributors, wealth management firms, capital market intermediaries or financial services organizations.
