Role & responsibilities

- Assist loan officers in preparing, reviewing, and processing commercial loan applications from intake through closing.

- Gather, organize, and verify borrower financial documents such as tax returns, financial statements, rent rolls, and entity paperwork.

- Prepare loan files for underwriting and help ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

- Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, and third-party vendors to keep transactions on schedule.

- Enter and maintain accurate loan data in the loan origination system and update pipeline reports.

- Track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and communicate status updates to internal teams and clients.

- Support the preparation of loan approval packages, term sheets, and closing documents.

- Provide responsive, professional customer service to borrowers throughout the process.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong understadning of Hotels, Motels, Hospitality Brands, Franchise

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

- 13 years of experience in commercial lending,



banking, loan processing, or a related financial services role.

- Strong understanding of loan documentation and the commercial lending process is a plus.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);

experience with loan origination software is a plus.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
