Company Description Mountain Bird Bagpackers is a community-driven experiential travel startup focused on North India. The company organizes youth group trips for ages 18–35, trek expeditions, corporate and college retreats, and curated experience-based travel. Each trip includes activities such as movie nights with projector setups, pottery and painting workshops, storytelling circles, music, group games, and bonfires.

The focus is on building genuine connection and shared experiences, rather than traditional sightseeing. Team members collaborate to design trips that foster community, creativity, and memorable journeys for travelers.

Role Description This is an on site based Full time role for a Co-Founder at Mountain Bird Bagpackers. The Co-Founder intern will support the core team in developing and refining the business model, researching new travel experiences and destinations, and helping design community-centric itineraries. Day-to-day tasks include contributing to marketing campaigns, engaging with potential partners and travelers, assisting with sales outreach, and analyzing feedback from trips to improve offerings.

The role also involves participating in strategic discussions, preparing basic reports and presentations, and helping build the brand’s online presence and community. This position is ideal for someone interested in entrepreneurship, experiential travel, and collaborative work in a startup environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Entrepreneurship, or a related field preferred, but not mandatory.

Ideally 2–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, growth, brand building, or entrepreneurship.

Hands-on experience with digital marketing, customer acquisition, sales funnels, or business growth strategies.

Experience building or scaling a startup, business, or consumer brand is highly desirable.

Understanding of financial planning,



budgeting, revenue models, and business strategy.

Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, social media marketing, content strategy, or performance marketing is an advantage.

Travel industry experience is not required. Candidates from other industries with fresh perspectives are strongly encouraged to apply.

Develop and execute scalable customer acquisition strategies.

Build innovative marketing campaigns and differentiated brand positioning.

Identify new revenue streams, growth channels, and partnership opportunities.

Improve lead generation, conversion rates, customer retention, and repeat bookings.

Work closely with the founder to develop and execute the company's long-term vision.

Introduce unconventional ideas, innovative travel products, and new business models.

Explore community-led growth, strategic collaborations, and expansion opportunities.

Convert creative ideas into commercially viable initiatives.

- Investment & Financial Strategy

Be willing and financially capable of discussing an investment in the startup.

Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Support fundraising opportunities and investor relationships.

Help develop a financially sustainable growth model.

- Leadership & Execution

Take ownership of agreed business functions and measurable outcomes.

Support team building, recruitment, and organisational development.

Establish scalable systems, processes, and performance metrics.





Work collaboratively with the founder to build the company from its current stage.
