We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator with experience in sheet-metal fabrication and CNC Nesting Optimization. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines, preparing effective nesting layouts, ensuring precision cutting, maximizing material utilization, and maintaining production quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC Laser Cutting Machines for precision sheet-metal cutting.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and cutting plans.
- Perform machine setup, material loading, parameter adjustments, and cutting operations.
- Prepare and optimize CNC nesting layouts to maximize material utilization and minimize material wastage.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, cutting quality, and adherence to specified tolerances.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished components.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in CNC Laser Cutting Machine operation.
- Understanding of sheet-metal cutting processes and material utilization.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting parameters, material thickness, and machine settings.
