Job Title: Civil Quality Engineer Solar

We are looking for an experienced Civil Quality Engineer for solar power projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and inspect civil construction activities at solar project sites.
2. Ensure quality of foundation work for solar module mounting structures.
3. Inspect excavation, PCC, RCC, concreting, and reinforcement activities.
4. Check pile foundations, pile alignment, depth, and concrete quality.
5. Verify reinforcement steel, shuttering, and concrete mix specifications.
6. Conduct quality inspections for roads, drainage, cable trenches, and equipment foundations.
7. Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
8. Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).

Conduct inspections and maintain quality checklists.
10. Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and client representatives.
11. Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
12. Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
13. Maintain quality documentation, test reports, and daily inspection reports.
14. Monitor material quality and verify test certificates.

- Knowledge of solar power plant civil construction.
- Understanding of RCC, PCC, reinforcement, and foundation works.
- Knowledge of pile foundation and MMS foundation.
- Understanding of IS codes and construction standards.
- Knowledge of concrete slump tests and cube tests.
- Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with ITP, WIR, MIR, NCR and method statements.

Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
