Brief about the Role The Center Manager serves as the primary leader and operational backbone of an individual Funky Monkeys location. You will be directly responsible for daily center operations, guest satisfaction, party execution, café management, staff leadership, and local floor revenue generation. You will ensure the center runs smoothly, stays spotlessly clean and safe, and delivers a warm, memorable experience to every child and parent who walks through the doors.

Roles and Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Guest Experience

- Shift Leadership: Manage daily center opening and closing procedures, POS ticketing counters, queue management, and floor coverage.
- Guest Relations: Welcoming families, gathering customer feedback, handling on-floor inquiries, and promptly resolving parent concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Party & Event Execution: Oversee birthday party bookings from inquiry to execution - coordinating host schedules, party zone setups, F&B; catering timing, and add-on services (decorations, entertainers) to deliver seamless celebrations.

Communication & Issue Resolution

- Staff Management & Scheduling: Rostering and supervising play supervisors, café staff, and housekeeping personnel.
- First-Line Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for all center staff issues. Directly address, mediate, and attempt to resolve staff concerns, scheduling conflicts, or performance matters at the center level.
- Escalation Protocol: Route unresolved personnel or operational issues to the Area Manager or HR department only after center-level resolution efforts have been exhausted.
- Centralizing Resource Requests: Gather and evaluate all staff requests for supplies, maintenance, or operational tools at the center level before submitting them to head office or area management.

Revenue & Café Management

- Sales Targets: Drive unit-level revenue targets through entry ticket sales, party package upsells, membership passes, and café sales.
- F&B; & Stock Audit: Oversee café operations, ensuring high food hygiene standards, minimal stock wastage, fast order fulfillment, and daily inventory audits.
- Cash & Billing Controls: Ensure accurate daily billing, POS reconciliation, petty cash tracking, and end-of-day cash drops.

Safety, Maintenance & Hygiene

- Safety First:



Perform daily morning safety checks on soft play structures, foam pits, trampolines, slides, and toddler equipment before opening to the public.
- Cleanliness Standards: Enforce strict hourly cleaning schedules for play areas, café seating, rest areas, and socks-only play zones.
- Facility Maintenance: Promptly report and coordinate repairs for equipment wear-and-tear, air conditioning, electrical systems, and POS equipment with approved vendors.

_ Must Have_ · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Experience: 5-7 years of supervisory or managerial experience in family entertainment centers (FECs), hospitality, retail, QSR, or child-centric venues.

· Customer Focus: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a warm, energetic, and child-friendly personality.

· Problem-Solving Skills: Calm under pressure with robust conflict resolution abilities when dealing with floor issues or staff matters.

· Operational Readiness: Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak holiday periods (when play centers experience maximum footfall).
