We bridge the gap between education and sustainable employment by delivering demand-driven skill training programs, STEM education, and post-placement support. Our mission is focused on enabling youth—especially young women and persons with disabilities (PWD)—from underprivileged communities to gain market-aligned skills, secure dignified jobs, and build long-term careers.

Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 5, 8, and 10), GSLF partners with leading CSR foundations, government bodies, ITIs, and corporate sponsors (including HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra Foundation, Crompton, HCL Foundation, and Voltas) to create a high-impact TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) ecosystem.

About the Role

We are seeking empathetic and proactive Counsellors for Post-Placement Mentoring to join our team.

In this role, you will serve as a vital support system for our recently placed learners as they transition into the workforce. You will conduct regular check-ins, offer career guidance, help them navigate workplace dynamics, and ensure their long-term professional success and job satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Learner Mentorship & Support: Conduct structured follow-up calls and counselling sessions with placed learners to monitor their workplace integration, satisfaction,



and career progress.

- Workplace Guidance: Provide constructive advice, motivation, and practical solutions to help learners overcome initial workplace challenges and adapt smoothly to their roles.

- Tracking & Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of learner interactions, feedback, and progress updates using MS Excel or Google Sheets.

- Reporting & Collaboration: Share periodic insights and performance updates with reporting managers to continuously improve our post-placement support programs.

Location & Openings

We are looking to fill 5 contractual positions across the following locations (with potential transition to full time roles based on performance and organizational needs):

- Mumbai: 5 openings

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A degree or diploma in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Education, or related fields is preferred.

Work Experience: Around 1 year work experience preferred

- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and record-keeping.

- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in regional languages based on your target location:

- Mumbai : Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.

Compensation & Engagement Details

- Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience).

- Employment Type: Contractual (Immediate joiners preferred).
