Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at Mohan Babu University, Tirupati, for a CAD CAM Design Engineer Instructor with competencies in Welding, Refrigeration Mechanics, and CNC Machine Operation. The instructor will deliver classroom and laboratory sessions on CAD/CAM design, welding technologies, refrigeration systems, and CNC machining, ensuring alignment with academic standards and industry practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, demonstrating practical techniques, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and supervising use of relevant equipment and tools.

The role involves assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining safety protocols in labs and workshops, and contributing to curriculum enhancement.



The instructor will collaborate with faculty and industry partners to integrate emerging technologies, support research and innovation activities, and participate in academic events and skill development initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Engineering Drawings and Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to interpret and create detailed technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design, including developing and refining mechanical components and systems.
- Candidates should possess advanced proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and CAD/CAM tools, with experience applying these in manufacturing or instructional settings.
- Relevant experience in welding processes, refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, and CNC machine operation, including safe workshop practices and equipment handling.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in technical or vocational education, with strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with industry standards, quality practices, and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing and automation; industry certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and industry stakeholders, support research and innovation, and engage in continuous professional development.
