About Deal Shot

Deal Shot is a Business OTT Channel focused on bringing business stories, industry insights, entrepreneurship, corporate developments and the world of commerce to a wider audience through engaging digital content.

We are looking for an exceptional Business Head with a solid background in the Film, OTT and Media & Entertainment industry to lead our business operations, drive strategic growth, build industry partnerships and establish Deal Shot as a leading business-focused OTT media platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall business strategy, operations and growth of Deal Shot.
- Develop and execute business plans to establish and scale the OTT channel.
- Drive revenue generation through brand partnerships, advertising, sponsorships, content monetisation and strategic alliances.
- Build strong relationships with film production houses, OTT platforms, media agencies, corporate houses, brands and industry stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic collaborations and revenue streams.
- Lead business development, marketing, distribution and commercial operations.
- Develop and execute content monetisation strategies in coordination with creative and production teams.
- Drive OTT platform growth, audience acquisition, brand positioning and market expansion.
- Build, mentor and lead high-performing teams.
- Monitor business performance, revenue targets, budgets and operational efficiency.
- Represent Deal Shot at key industry events and establish strong industry relationships.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements
- 15 years of proven professional experience in the Film, OTT, Television, Broadcasting or Media & Entertainment industry.
- Candidates must come exclusively from a Film, OTT or Media & Entertainment background.
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles such as Business Head, CEO, COO, VP – Business,



Head of Business Development or equivalent.
- Strong track record in business development, revenue generation, strategic partnerships and commercial operations.
- Excellent understanding of OTT business models, digital media, content monetisation, advertising and sponsorship ecosystems.
- Established network of industry contacts across production houses, OTT platforms, media agencies and corporate brands.
- Demonstrated ability to scale businesses, lead teams and deliver measurable business results.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and strategic decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in accomplished professionals who have worked with leading:

- OTT platforms and digital streaming companies.
- Film production and distribution houses.
- Television networks and broadcasting companies.
- Media and entertainment groups.
- Digital content production and monetisation businesses.

Candidates from unrelated industries, including general sales, FMCG, IT and conventional corporate backgrounds, will not be considered.
