Role Overview

This role will be responsible for driving financial planning, business performance management, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and management reporting across our global operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with advanced financial analysis, commercial acumen, and the ability to partner with senior leadership to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and rolling financial projections.
- Develop integrated financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
- Perform scenario analysis to support business expansion, investments, and strategic decisions.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

2. Business Finance & Profitability Management

- Partner with Sales, Delivery, HR, and Operations to drive financial performance.
- Analyze profitability at client, project, practice, and geographical levels.
- Monitor resource utilization, billing rates, delivery costs, gross margins, and operating profitability.
- Support commercial pricing, contract evaluations, and business case development.
- Identify cost optimization and margin improvement opportunities.

3. Financial Reporting, MIS & Analytics

- Prepare monthly and quarterly management information system (MIS) reports and executive dashboards.




- Conduct detailed variance analysis covering budget versus actuals and forecast versus actuals.
- Deliver meaningful financial insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
- Establish consistent financial KPIs across global business units.

4. Accounting, Financial Controls & Reconciliations

- Work closely with regional accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee management-level reconciliations, financial data integrity, and reporting consistency.
- Coordinate monthly financial close activities and consolidation of global financial information.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting processes.

5. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Analyze accounts receivable, collections, working capital, and outstanding client payments.
- Work with business leaders to improve billing efficiency, cash conversion, and financial predictability.

6. Financial Modeling & Strategic Decision Support

- Build financial models for growth plans, new markets, service offerings, and business investments.
- Support organizational capacity planning and workforce-related financial forecasting.
- Perform sensitivity analysis, ROI calculations, and investment evaluations.
- Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for senior management.

7. Team Leadership & Finance Transformation

- Mentor and develop finance analysts and reporting professionals.
- Standardize financial reporting and performance measurement across regions.
- Drive automation of financial reporting, dashboards, and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to improve financial governance.

Required Skills





- 10–12 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Business Finance, FP&A;, Budgeting, and Management Reporting.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and financial accounting principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Experience developing executive-level MIS reports and financial dashboards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Robust analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
- CA, CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Background in IT Services, Software Consulting, or Professional Services.
- Experience supporting multi-country operations and global financial reporting.
- Understanding of project-based revenue, resource utilization, and services profitability.
- Exposure to Power BI, financial planning tools, and automated management reporting.
- Experience partnering directly with CEOs, CFOs, and business unit leaders.
