Business Analyst – Insurance Domain

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Insurance Domain expertise to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance business processes, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and functional documentation.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and clients to translate business requirements into functional specifications and deliver effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from insurance clients and stakeholders.
- Understand insurance business processes across Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance, and other insurance products.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Analyse existing insurance workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Work closely with development, QA, and implementation teams.
- Support UAT planning, test case preparation, and business validation.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain functional documentation and support implementation activities.





Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.

Understanding of insurance lifecycle processes, including:

- Policy issuance and administration.
- Underwriting and risk assessment.
- Claims processing and settlement.
- Premium calculation and payments.
- Customer onboarding and renewals.
- KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in preparing BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, and workflow documentation.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with insurance platforms, policy administration systems, and claims management systems.
- Knowledge of digital insurance, InsurTech, and insurance automation.
- Exposure to API integrations and enterprise application implementations.
- Knowledge of AI-driven insurance solutions and workflow automation.
- Experience working with UAE or GCC insurance clients is an added advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Any relevant business analysis or insurance certification is an advantage.
