About Us

Nowmi Child Guidance Center is a dedicated child development and early intervention center in Madhapur, Hyderabad. We provide comprehensive, evidence-based developmental support to children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and related behavioral challenges. We are looking for passionate, experienced Behavioural Therapists dedicated to driving measurable developmental outcomes using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Role Overview

As a Behavioural Therapist, you will deliver direct 1-on-1 therapy exclusively using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. You will execute individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans, helping children develop functional communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills while systematically reducing maladaptive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct structured 1-on-1 direct therapy sessions using core ABA methodologies (Discrete Trial Training, Natural Workplace Teaching, shaping, chaining, and prompt fading).
- Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under clinical supervision.
- Accurately collect, record, and graph trial-by-trial behavioral data during each session to track target behaviors and milestone progression.
- Apply positive reinforcement systems, antecedent strategies, and extinction procedures effectively.
- Conduct preference assessments to identify effective reinforcers.




- Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and special educators to support holistic child progress.
- Provide regular progress updates, feedback, and home-program guidance to parents to ensure skill generalization.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education (any one of the following):
- Master’s Degree in Psychology (Clinical, Applied, or Child Psychology)
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Special Education
- Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed / D.SE)
- Experience: Prior hands-on clinical or developmental center experience working as an ABA Therapist / Behavioural Therapist with children on the autism spectrum is required.
- Strong practical command over ABA terminology, trial tracking, prompting hierarchies, and functional behavior principles.
- High patience, empathy, resilience, and capability to handle challenging behaviors safely and calmly.
- Excellent observational, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Schedule & Work Location
- Work Location: In-person at Madhapur, Hyderabad
- Schedule: Day shift (Monday to Friday)
